Hi guys! Today I will be talking about the country Afghanistan in Asia.
Population: 40.1 million people live in Afghanistan.
Religion: Most people’s religion are Islam. Other religions include Muslims and others.
Neighboring Countries: Iran, Pakistan, Tajikastan,Turkmedistan, and Uzbekistan.
Geographic Features: Geographic features include Irrigated land, Fertile river valleys, Deep gorges, Deserts, High Plateaus, and Snow covered mountains.
Climate: The climate is mostly Dry continental, with hot summers, and cold winters.
Popular food: Though there are many, the most popular food in Afghanistan is called Kabuli Pulao. It is made of steamed rice, raisins, carrots, and beef, or lamb.
Holidays: There are so many holidays in Afghanistan, but some include Liberation day, Eid al-Fitr, and Mujahideen.
Language: The three main languages are Pashto, Dari, and Lingua franca.
